An unknown suspect approached a female by her residence as she arrived home and grabbed her purse. The suspect fled on foot and is described as Male, white, tall, skinny build, wearing a dark hoodie and jeans. Barrie Police set up a perimeter in the area of Mapleview Drive and Essa Rd and K-9 commenced a track of the suspect but were unsuccessful in apprehending the suspect.
The 41 year old female did not suffer any injuries as a result of the incident..
