On March 18, 2014 at 1943hrs an unidentified male entered the Queen Shop convenience store, 432 Queen St S in Kitchener and demanded money. The male fled the store without obtaining any cash. A short time later at 1954hrs a suspect with a similar description went to the Big Bear Food Mart located at 159 Highland Rd E in Kitchener. The suspect approached the counter and demanded money and indicated that he had a gun. After a verbal altercation with the clerk the suspect fled the store without obtaining any money. No weapons were observed and there were no injuries as a result of the two incidents. The suspects is described as being a White male approximately 20 years of age, 5”6” tall with a medium build, wearing a black winter jacket with the hood up, winter gloves and a bandana covering his face.
