Road Condition Warning

(HURON COUNTY, ON) – Yesterday, March 9th, Huron OPP officers investigated eight collisions from 2:00 pm until supper. When temperatures fluctuate near zero, conditions on the road can change very quickly – going from wet to icy and back again. Most of the collisions did not result in injury. Two of the collisions left occupants with minor injuries. The collisions occurred all over the county so no single area was affected.

Motorists are being urged to slow down when precipitation is occurring. While the roads may seem wet, they could be icy. Most involved people walked away from these collisions without injury because they were wearing their seatbelts. People are urged to continue making these good decisions.

Drive safely!!
