Ring turned into Guelph Police

During this past weekend Guelph By-law turned over to the Guelph Police Service items that they had found during the past year while on patrol. One of the items that had been turned in is a ring that has initials and a date engraved on it.

To make an enquiry about this ring, please contact the Guelph Police Property/Firearms office Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. @ 519-824-1212 ext.7061 or 7338. You will be asked to describe the ring in detail.

Reporting process for found property:

If you locate a found bike, the standard process is to leave the bike where you found it, contact the Guelph Police, and on Sunday morning a member of the Community Volunteer Patrol (C.V.P.) will pick up the bike.

Found animals should be reported to the Guelph Humane Society.

Most items of value should be turned over to the police, however items that the police will not be able to link back to an owner, such as a hat, glove, or umbrella can be left in the area where they were located as an owner may return to the last place of where they were in hopes of locating that item.

Reporting process for lost or stolen property:

Should you want to report a lost or stolen item please use our online reporting system.

The following incidents qualify for Online Reports:
