(GODERICH, ON) – Huron OPP officers are investigating the theft of a .22 caliber rifle stolen from a pickup truck that was parked on South Street near Balvina Drive in Goderich. This theft took place sometime between 9:30 p.m. on August 28, 2012 and 10:30 a.m. on August 29, 2012. The owner reported he had the rifle stored in a black, soft vinyl case underneath the truck seat. The firearm had a trigger lock in place.
The rifle is described as a black Concord .22 caliber bolt action long rifle with an attached Tasco scope. Also stolen was a small quantity of .22 caliber rim fire ammunition.
The stolen property is worth about $320.
