Ridout Street Shooting

On Wednesday, August 24, 2016 a 911 call was made at 1:37 a.m. in relation to an injured male on Ridout Street near Kent Street. London Police Service members arrived to find the male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to London Health Sciences Centre, where he remains in critical condition.

Major Crime Section members are continuing the investigation. There have been no arrests made and there is currently no suspect information available. There have been no weapons recovered in relation to the incident. Investigators are appealing to anyone who resides in, or who was traveling through, the area to contact police to report observations of suspicious activity of any kind around the time of the incident. Ridout Street between Kent Street and Albert Street remains closed at this time.
