(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit is seeking public assistance to identify one male suspect involved in four break and enters in the Rideau Centre Mall located at 50 Rideau Street. Three break and enters occurred on July 17th between 7:00pm and 10:00pm. A fourth break and enter occurred on July 20th between 00:30am and 01:00am.
On July 17th, the suspect was wearing a red t-shirt with a black print or design across the chest, dark pants rolled up to mid calf, and light grey runners. He was carrying a small light gray with white backpack with black straps.
On July 20th, the same male, was wearing a long sleeve light grey shirt with a blue t-shirt on top. The blue t-shirt had a logo with “EST 1978” written on the front. The suspect also wore dark blue jeans and light gray shoes. He appeared to be clean-shaven.
Suspect is described as having a lighter complexion, 25 to 35 years old. He is approximately 5’10” (177 cm) and 155 lbs (70 kg). He has short black hair parted to the left and receding in the front, hair was shaved on the sides and has a thin black goatee (view pictures.)
