(HURON EAST, ON) On December 21, 2011 at 12:08 a.m. Huron County OPP officers conducted a R.I.D.E (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program at the intersection of Front Road and Vanastra Road. A Nissan entered the checkpoint and while speaking with the driver, the officer discovered a quantity of suspected marijuana inside the vehicle.
Brian LAYTON, aged 18 of Central Huron, ON has been charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He will answer to the charge at the Ontario Court of Justice- Goderich on February 6, 2012. LP11357796
