RIDE Check Results In Drunk Driving Charge For Wayne MICK

(NORTH PERTH, ON) – A Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check resulted in the locating of an impaired driver in the Municipality of North Perth. The driver was stopped by a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County detachment shortly after 5:00 p.m. on October 6, 2018.

Through investigation, it was determined that the driver had consumed alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a detachment for further testing.

As a result, forty-eight-year old Wayne MICK of Mapleton Township was charged with:

Driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood.

He was later released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date. The vehicle was towed and impounded.
