(ST.MARYS, ON) The Perth County OPP has concluded its investigation into the improper use of computers and the internet by youths in St.Marys.

With the assistance of the OPP Child Exploitation Unit, local Perth County OPP investigators have determined that no criminal charges will be pursued as part of this investigation.
This incident brings to the forefront the importance of knowing that nothing you write and post on the web is completely private no matter how secure you think your settings are. When posting personal items people need to realize that they are relinquishing control and ownership of these posts and that these posts become the intellectual property of the site owner. Once posted, you may not be able to completely retrieve all of your information back.
Young people and their parents need to understand the risks associated with the wonders presented by the online world.
