(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) is pleased to report that there were no major incidents they had to attend to during this weekend’s Paddy Fest activities in Listowel.
As a result of patrols around and near the St. Paddy’s venues on Saturday night only two people were charged for having liquor in an open container in public and only two people were lodged for the night as they were intoxicated in a public place.
Numerous R.I.D.E. programs in the Listowel area only netted one driver, a 49 year old female from Cambridge who was in possession of marihuana. She was arrested and is scheduled to appear in court on April 24, 2013 to answer to the charge.
