On July 18, 2015 emergency services responded to a residential fire on Brantford Highway. Cambridge, Brant and North Dumfries Fire Departments attended the scene and controlled the fire. Fire Marshall deemed the event as accidental. The material losses are estimated in $150,000, no one was injured.
