On Tuesday, March 15, at 3:17 a.m. Waterloo Regional Police responded to reports of gun shots in two locations on Paulander Drive in Kitchener. Officers responded to the scene and located two bullet holes in a residential window and witnesses reported several suspects who fled the scene in a vehicle at a high rate of speed.
Police located the suspect vehicle at the rear of Moorgate Crescent and identified a unit connected to the incident. As a result of the investigation, seven individuals were placed under arrest and weapons have been recovered. Police do not believe there is any further risk to public safety.
