Repeat Offenders Charged – Stolen Property Recovered

On Wednesday April 7, 2016 the Waterloo Regional Police Service arrested a 34 year old male and a 44 year old male for multiple thefts of high end equipment and merchandise. The investigation has uncovered a theft ring involving multiple jurisdictions. Over the span of several days the accused males have targeted multiple businesses in Waterloo, Brampton and Hamilton stealing high end expensive brand name merchandise ranging from musical equipment, sunglasses to beauty products. Both men face multiple charges including theft under $5000, possession of stolen property under $500, trafficking in stolen property and breach of probation. As a result of the investigation police have been able to recover $4150.00 worth of stolen property most of which has been returned to the victims. Police are continuing to investigate this theft ring as it is believed that there are multiple other businesses that have been targeted and further charges are pending.
