On Monday June 13, 2016, at 10:00am, an elderly female was robbed outside of the CIBC at 75 Dundas St N, Cambridge. After completing her transactions with the bank teller, the female victim was followed out of the bank by a male who was waiting in line.
Once outside, the man violently took the woman’s purse, causing minor injuries to the victim. With the assistance of the public, police were able to locate and arrest the male as he was trying to flee the scene in a taxi. The purse containing all the money was returned to the victim. The 32 year old Cambridge man was charged with Robbery and a probation violation and was held for a bail hearing.
