On June 20, 2016, at 8:45 p.m., police pursued a stolen white pickup truck in Cambridge. The lone male occupant fled on foot and was arrested by police on Elgin Street North near Winter Avenue. A 26 year old male from St. George is facing multiple criminal charges including: fail to stop, possession of stolen property under $5000, possession of stolen property over $5000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, breach of recognizance, breach of probation, use plate not authorized for motor vehicle, and drive while under suspension. The accused will be held for a show cause bail hearing. No one was injured or damage sustained as a result of the incident.
