(PERTH COUNTY, ON) – Members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2017 to a driving complaint in the Municipality of West Perth.
A concerned citizen contacted police regarding a pick-up truck travelling on Perth Road 164. The truck was located and through investigation it was determined that the operator was a disqualified driver and that the vehicle had been stolen.
As a result, thirty-four-year old Michael MCLAUGHLIN of the Municipality of West Perth was arrested and charged with Drive While Disqualified, Possession of Stolen Property, and Breach of Probation. He was released on a Recognizance and is scheduled to attend court at a later date.
