Rejected 16 Year Old Returns To Party With Gang And Starts Stabbing Party Goers – Three Sent To Hospital

A 16 year old Milton youth has been arrested and is facing a number of charges following a New Year’s Eve house party that saw three party goers taken to hospital with varying injuries.

At about 2:37am on Sunday January 1st, 2017, Halton Police and EMS were dispatched to an address on Davis Lane to investigate an unknown problem.

Once police arrived at the scene they found three males who had been involved in an altercation suffering injuries. The males were transported to hospital. One male received a stab wound to his abdomen; however, was expected to make a full recovery. The second male suffered a non-life threatening stab wound to his chest, was treated and released. The third male was taken to hospital as a precaution and later released.

Investigation at the scene revealed that a young male had been kicked out of the party earlier after his romantic advances towards another party goer were rejected. While being asked to leave the party there was a verbal confrontation. This resulted in the youth leaving the dwelling and calling on the assistance of four other males. This group returned to the area and forced their way into the rear of the residence and began to assault the victims. Prior to police arrival they fled the scene.

A short time after the incident police identified the young man who was previously asked to leave the party. He was arrested without incident outside his Milton residence. A search warrant was authorized and executed at the home.

The youth was held for bail. He is facing the following charges;

Break and Enter Commit an Indictable offence (Aggravated Assault)

Mischief Under $5000
