Reeve Neil Vincent Inducted Into Hall Of Shame For Endangering Children And Community

Neil Vincent’s council has constantly refused to clear the sidewalks in Wingham. Vincent claims town staff are too busy to even figure out what we are currently paying to clear out sidewalks in the winter. If town staff is too busy too tell council what we are currently paying for sidewalk clearing, then they are obviously too busy to clear more sidewalks or to clear the ones they do properly.

Vincent has rejected offers for volunteers to operate the sidewalk clearing equipment, and prefers to increase NH’s insurance coverage instead, at a cost of about an extra $20,000/year of your money. Council is literally paying extra to force our children to walk in traffic to get to school in the winter.

Neil Vincent has still not put any money away in our infrastructure reserves. In reality NH is running a $3,000,000/year deficit. Our Community is crumbling and falling in upon itself (Howson Dam, storm drains) and there is no plan to address this vital issue. Neil Vincent’s decade long policy of apathy continues to endanger the future of our Community.

Neil Vincent admits council rubber stamps Wingham police board requests, and they refuse to release/admit the cost of OPP policing for Wingham. We all know the Wingham police cost 2X more than the OPP. The OPP are called in whenever their is a serious crime in Wingham anyway.

Neil Vincent (AKA: The Great Oppressor) banned questioning council, banned recording council meetings, ordered/triggered the arrest of innocent members of the public, and has taken credit for the hard work community groups have done to fix our community.

These are only a few of the reasons Neil Vincent is being inducted into the Hall Of Shame. <iframe src=https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fwingham.freepress%2Fposts%2F683013055210784&width=500″ width=”500″ height=”233″ style=”border:none;overflow:hidden” scrolling=”no” frameborder=”0″ allowTransparency=”true”>“
