Rebecca Strang – Careless Driving, Two Vehicle Collision

(BLUEWATER, ON) – Huron OPP has charged a 36 year old female driver with careless driving following a two car collision. On February 7, 2013 at 5:25 p.m. Huron OPP officers along with Huron County paramedics and Hensall Fire Department members attended a crash located on London Road just north of Rodgerville Road.

Upon arrival, a black Subaru Forester was found engulfed in flames in the north lane and a silver Toyota Sienna was located in the west ditch. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. Officers learned the Subaru was travelling south on London Road when it crossed the center line, the driver of the Toyota attempted to avoid the Subaru however both vehicles collided.

A 36 year old female from Huron East was transported to Victoria Hospital in London with non-life threatening injuries. She was a passenger in the Toyota Sienna; the 39 year old male driver of the Toyota was uninjured.

The driver of the Subaru, 36 year old Rebecca STRANG from South Huron was charged with Careless Driving. She was uninjured.
