(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Monday May 20, 2013, around 7:30 p.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol observed a van towing a utility trailer weaving in the south bound lane of Perth Road 140 south of Line 90.
The vehicle was pulled over and the driver was spoken to. The odour of an alcoholic beverage was emitted from the driver’s breath and other signs of impairment were noted. The driver was arrested and transported to the Palmerston OPP Detachment where he failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.
