A Toronto man is scheduled to appear in Milton Court following a lengthy fraud investigation.
36 year old Raghbir Singh Khosa of Toronto, is facing a number of charges after racking up $28,000.00 on bogus credit cards.
In June of 2016, members of the One District Criminal Investigations Bureau began looking into a series of fraudulent transactions which had been made at retail locations in Halton Hills.
It is alleged that between the 19th of May and the 22nd of June 2016 Khosa attended retail locations not only in Halton but throughout the GTA and purchased merchandise using fraudulent credit card data.
Police located Khosa at a high end condominium building in Toronto. On July 29th, 2016 Khosa was arrested without incident and held for bail. Khosa was later released and will appear in Milton court to answer to the following charges:
9 counts of fraudulent use of credit card data
11 counts of obtain credit by false pretences
20 counts of breach of probation.
