(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) brought Rachel’s Challenge to Southern Bruce County with the assistance of our community partners. Rachel’s Challenge is to start a chain reaction beginning with a simple act of kindness. 6 presentations were given; 4 for the local high schools and 2 evening sessions for the community; 1 in Kincardine and the other in Walkerton. Rachel’s Challenge was very well received and each of the area high schools has started a “Friends of Rachel†club to keep the chain reaction going.
The South Bruce OPP appreciates the support of the community and wishes to recognize the following sponsors:
Bluewater District School Board
Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board

“I appreciate the support provided to bring Rachel’s Challenge to the South Bruce area. Our youth were clearly inspired and I look forward to attending “Friends of Rachel†events as they work to keep the chain reaction going†– Inspector Scott Smith, Detachment Commander, South Bruce OPP.
