(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Sunday April 11th 2010 around the noon hour a Perth County OPP officer on routine patrol observed a fast moving North bound SUV on Perth Road 130 North of St.Marys.
The vehicle was locked in on radar travelling in excess of 50 km/h above the posted speed limit of 80 km/h. As a result the 18 year old male driver from the Township of Perth South was charged with “Racingâ€, and was served a summons to appear in Stratford Provincial Offences Court on June 08, 2010 to answer to the charge. The driver was also served a 7 day licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
