(BLUEWATER, ON) – A London resident recently had his driver’s licence suspended for seven days following a traffic stop on January 17, 2014. At approximately 3:30 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a purple Nissan travelling southbound on London Road at a high rate of speed. The officer confirmed the vehicle’s speed with a radar device and measured the speed at 136 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
Qilong LI, a 19 year old male from London has been charged with “Race a Motor Vehicleâ€Â. He now has a court appearance scheduled for Provincial Offences Act Court – Goderich on March 4, 2014. His driver’s licence was been suspended for seven days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
