(NORTH HURON, ON) – Huron OPP officers are investigating the theft of two purses stolen from a parked car at the Blyth Arena located on Gypsy Lane. At 1:39 p.m. on February 13, 2012 officers were notified of the theft. The thief smashed a car window and stole the purses that were left inside.
A black, 4 door, 2003 to 2006 Honda Accord with tinted windows is believed to be the suspect vehicle. The stolen purses and some of the contents were later recovered south of Grand Bend near Highway 21.
Huron OPP is reminding residents to never leave valuable objects or packages in plain view. Put them in the trunk or take them with you when possible.
