Puppy Stolen After Kijiji Ad – Owner Pepper Sprayed – Puppy Photo Released

Mississauga – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects involved in a robbery in which a puppy was stolen.

On Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at approximately 7:54 p.m., three suspects attended the victim’s residence, located in the area of Morning Star Drive and Goreway Drive in Mississauga, posing as buyers for a puppy, which the victim had advertised on Kijiji. The suspects then pepper- sprayed the victim and fled with the puppy in a silver, four- door Honda Civic.

The victim, a 27 year-old male, suffered minor injuries as a result of the robbery.

The first suspect is described as male, East Indian, late teens to early twenties, skinny build, dark complexion, with a beard from his chin tapering to his ears. He was wearing glasses with thick frames and dark clothing.

The second suspect is male, East Indian, late teens to early twenties, 5’10”, 180 lbs., short hair, with earrings about a quarter inch wide on both ears. He was wearing a jacket and running shoes.

The third suspect is a female, East Indian, late teens to early twenties, with a thin build, long black hair, and a possible name of Karen.

The puppy is an eight week old, female Argentine Dogo, white in colour, with a distinct black patch of fur on her back.

Investigators would like to speak to any witnesses who were in the area of Morning Star Drive and Goreway Drive at the time of the incident- or any individual who may have information on this matter.
