(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) Perth County officers were dispatched to Mornington Public School located on Perth Road 131 between Milverton and Carthage on Friday September 17, 2010, after the janitor discovered 3 smashed windows at the rear of the school.
Sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Thursday September 16 and 7:00 a.m. Friday September 17th unknown person/s entered onto the school property in a motor vehicle and drove behind the school. The culprits removed some large rocks from a flower garden which is located directly behind the school. These rocks were thrown through three large windows at the back of the school. Prior to leaving the school property the culprits drove around the play yard leaving donut skid marks behind.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who observed suspicious activity at the school or who has knowledge of this senseless crime to contact them immediately.
