Sometime yesterday between 7:50 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. a black magazine-sized purse was stolen from the front passenger compartment of a parked gray 4-door Honda. The victim reports that it occurred in one of two locations while the vehicle was unattended; either a fast-food outlet’s parking lot at 9th Street / 10th Avenue East; or while the car was parked along the 800 block of 2nd Avenue East’s east curb.
The purse is black with a prominent silver G and zipper-top.
Two prescription bottles containing burgundy pills and orange pills prescribed to treat severe pain were secured in the purse. An overdose can be fatal. Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222.
Any persons locating these medications should contact Owen Sound Police Services immediately. Any persons with information relating to this theft are encouraged to call Crimestoppers or Owen Sound Police Services.
