Public Assistance Requested – Attempted Abduction – Lost Dog” – Yellow Pickup”

On September 28, 2012 between the 3:30pm and 3:50pm, an 8 year old female was approached by a male in a yellow pick-up truck which was parked at the dead-end of Boult Avenue near Lyons Pool and the Eramosa River walking trails. The young female indicated that the unknown male initiated a conversation with her requesting assistance in finding his dog. The young female left the area and reported it to Police. The vehicle was last seen leaving the area going eastbound onto York Road from Boult Avenue.

Vehicle description: a large regular cab (only two doors), brand new yellow pick-up truck, new tires, with very shiny silver rims.

Driver description: Male, white, approximately 30 year’s old, clean shaven, with short dark hair, possibly a brush cut. He was wearing a dark coloured button-up jacket, possibly leather.
