Public Assistance Needed: Double Stabbing Suspect Photo Released – Please Share ASAP

On separate dates since November 25, Waterloo Regional Police have arrested and charged four males in connection with a double stabbing which occurred at King St N and Hickory St in the City of Waterloo during the early morning hours of November 14th 2014. Vipusanth SINGESWARAN, Venujan VIJAYAKULAN, Umaeshaan KUMARAKULASINGAM and Janishan BRABAHARAN, all 19 years old from Markham, are charged with two counts of Assault with a Weapon and two counts of Assault Cause Bodily Harm. Venujan VIJAYAKULAN and Umaeshaan KUMARAKULASINGAM are also facing additional weapons charges. Venujan VIJAYAKULAN is currently accused of similar offences resulting from his involvement in another double stabbing incident which took place outside an uptown Waterloo bar on September 25th 2014 (Occurrence 14-219285). At this time, police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an outstanding suspect and are releasing the attached photo to assist the investigation. On November 14, 2014 at approximately 2:30 am there was a disturbance at King Street North and Hickory Street in Waterloo Ontario between two groups of males. As a result two males were treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
