Psycho Customer Threatens To Burn Place Down And Assault Staff – Released On Condition To Stay Away From Pizza Pizza

Barrie Police were called to Pizza Pizza located at 49 High Street, in the City of Barrie, after a customer returned to complain about the quality of his pizza but took the complaint too far.

At 6:30pm on Sunday, December 11th, 2016 Police received a call from employees on scene at the restaurant. Dispatchers could hear the accused through the phone yelling and once on scene the dozen other patrons told police the male was threatening to burn the restaurant down. He also threatened to come behind the counter and physically harm the employees working.

The 42-year-old Barrie male was transported back to Barrie Police Service where he was released on a Promise to Appear with conditions to stay away from Pizza Pizza. He will attend court in January to answer to his charges of Cause Disturbance and Uttering Threats.
