(WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON) Every year the County of Wellington OPP comes into possession of property that is either turned in or seized as a result of a police investigation. Items that can be positively identified by their owners are returned to them, but Police are still left with unclaimed items such as bicycles, tools and electronics which will eventually go to auction if the owners do not come forward.
The County of Wellington OPP would like to encourage you to protect your property by photographing the items, recording serial numbers or engrave your driver’s licence number, licence plate number or telephone number on your property to ensure it is returned if it comes into the possession of the Police.
