Promar Karate of Listowel, Ontario sent 3 competitors to the NBL and SKIL Super Grands World Championship in Buffalo, New York December 26th to 31st. Over 200 martial artists attended from Canada, USA, Mexico, South America, Europe and Asia.
Mark Yates took 2nd in Black Belt Traditional Weapons, 3rd in Open Weapons and 4th in Contemporary Self-Defense.
Becky Schweitzer took 3rd in Traditional Black Belt Self-Defense, 4th in Korean Forms and Traditional Weapons and 5th in Contemporary Weapons.
Jon Cucksey took 1st in Adult Coloured Belt Self-Defense, 2nd in Adult Advance Sparring and 4th in Advance Kata and Weapons.
