Proceeds From Church Luncheon Stolen

(GODERICH, ON) Huron County OPP is investigating a theft from a church located on Gibbons Street, Goderich. At approximately 12:00 p.m. on November 12, 2011 police were called to the church regarding the theft. Investigators learned the church was holding a luncheon and yard sale when the theft took place.

Members from the church reported a thief stole a small, black, metal cash box from the admission table and took off running from the church heading north on Gibbons Street. Church volunteers gave chase of the male however he was not located.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20’s, approximately 5’ 8”, with a slight build between 140lbs to 150lbs, dark moustache, and wearing a green Green Bay Packers” hoody.

An unspecified quantity of cash was stolen.
