(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TWP, ON) On Sunday June 30th 2013, at approximately 6:31pm, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Constable Steve Hunter was conducting moving radar on Wellington County Road 124 near 7th Line in Guelph-Eramosa Township. A 2012 Scion was observed travelling Eastbound at a high rate of speed. The male driver of the motor vehicle was locked in the radar travelling at 146 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
Preston BARRETTE age 25 of Guelph is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on the 17th of July 2013 to answer to the charge.
