2 April 2014,

11:44 am police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the Walmart parking lot. A person who had parked came out to find another car had parked beside her vehicle and in fact the vehicles were touching. Minor damage to both vehicles.

3:53 pm a person struck a coyote on Hwy 21 south and attended to the police office to report it. Minor damage was done to the vehicle, the coyote didn’t make it.

3 April 2014,

2:18 am police responded to a Southampton home where an intoxicated person ended up on her neighbours porch and did not know where she was. She was arrested for public intoxication and lodged in the cells until sober.

4 April 2014,

5:17 pm police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Goderich St. A vehicle was backing into a parking spot and was struck by another vehicle that was going out and around the vehicle attempting to park. The damage was minor.

5 April 2014,

1:00 am police were flagged down by the staff at the Wismer House who wished to have an intoxicated female person removed. This person had thrown a beer bottle across the bar smashing a Vodka bottle. The woman was removed and spent the night in the cell for public intoxication.

2:04 am police received a fraud complaint in regards to a website purchase. The victim paid for a motorcycle by wiring money through Western Union to an address in Africa. The victim is out several thousand dollars.

Always be very careful when buying something over the internet online. Unless you have done a lot of research and are 100% confident everything is above board don’t do it. If an item you are looking to buy is priced too good it probably is something you should steer away from. Next flag that goes up should be sending money through Western Union anywhere. Next flag sending money to Africa. Last flag after you have sent money is the request for just a bit more for shipping, customs, or any other reason. Save your hard earned money.

8:43 pm, police conducted RIDE in Southampton, no offenders.
