Press Release – 3 March 2014 to 9 March 2014

3 March 2014, I know it does not look like spring is just around the corner but it will come it always does. With the amount of snow we have had this winter we will have a lot of run off when it melts. This is going to make all our streams, creeks and rivers swell. It is a great time now before it happens to have a talk with your kids about the dangers of walking near the water and on the ice. When the water is flowing fast it eats away at the ice and makes it very unsafe. The ice on Lake Huron goes without saying; it is unsafe at any time. Talk to your kids and be safe.
