Power Tools Stolen From Vanastra Job Site

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred earlier this week in Vanastra.

Sometime between 9:00 p.m. on May 28, 2017 and 7:30 a.m. on May 29, 2017 unknown persons targeted a home being built on Crescent Drive. The thieves entered into the home through an insecure door and once inside the structure they located and stole a large number of power tools.

Some of the stolen items included three black & yellow 20 volt Dewalt power drills, a Dewalt skill saw, A Dewalt radio and a Makita hammer drill.

The value of the stolen tools is estimated at $1,500.
