Power Outage In Owen Sound – Treat Intersections As 4 Way Stops

The south east area of Owen Sound is experiencing power outages this morning after last night’s storm caused significant damage to the distribution system along 8 th Street East. The traffic lights at the following intersections are affected;

8 th Street East at 9 th Ave East

8 th Street East at 16 th Ave East

10 th Street East at 16 th Ave East.

Motorist are encouraged to approach these areas with caution and treat the intersections as four way stops. The lights are expected to be out for a few hours while repairs are made.
