(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service is confirming that it is a woman’s body that was recovered today in the Rideau River. She has not yet been identified.
The suspicious death investigation is now led by the Major Crime Section, working closely with East District investigators.
A post mortem will be conducted. There is no further information available at this time.
