On Wednesday, March 8, 2017, between the hours of 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm a 9 year old boy was approached in the area of Meadowlands Way and Callingham Drive by a vehicle being driven by an unknown male. The male attempted to coax the child into his vehicle but the child ran away and brought the incident to the attention of an adult. The male drove away in the vehicle, direction unknown. The child was uninjured as a result of this incident.
The male is described as follows:
White, 20 to 30 years of age, tall, with short black hair – spikey on top, beard around his chin area, and no moustache. He was wearing a brimmed hat, a coat with red sections panels on the front and back and black panels on the side, and black track pants with red sides and red ankle boots.
He was driving a newer GMC SUV style vehicle, grey in colour with black luggage rails on top.
