Police Urging Motorists To Stay Off The Roads

(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – A powerful winter storm is passing through Southern Bruce County with high winds and blowing snow that are causing pockets of absolute zero visibility. The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are dealing with a number of vehicle crashes and abandoned vehicles that are hampering road crews ability to plow.

The South Bruce OPP is urging motorists to post pone all non-essential travel plans until the storm passes. Emergency crews are having a hard time responding to stranded vehicles that were caught in the storm.
