On Friday afternoon, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit and the Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at a west side apartment building.
A male and female were located within the residence and taken into custody without incident.
Police located evidence of drug use within the residence and small quantities of drugs. Part of the police investigation involved information received through neighbourhood complaints about the residence and the police service would like to thank the public for their input.
A 28 year old female and a 22 year old male from Owen Sound have been charged with:
Possession of Heroin
Possession of Morphine
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Methadone
The male and female have been released on conditions and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on July 14, 2016 to answer to the charges.
