Yesterday, a local farmer contacted police to report that he had located 20 plants growing on his property. Officers attended and the plants were seized for destruction.
The Chatham-Kent Police encourages anyone who finds marihuana growing in a field to call police immediately. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
