On July 29th 2016, members of the Oakville Criminal Investigations Bureau – Street Crime Unit, along with the Tactical Rescue Unit and K9, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Ripley Court in North Oakville.
Investigators seized a quantity of drugs that included Cocaine, Oxycodone and Marihuana with an approximate street value of $2400.00.
They also located a loaded shotgun (photo attached) and a replica handgun from within the residence.
John David MARRIN, 22 years of Oakville was arrested and charged with the following offences. He was held for a bail hearing.

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Controlled Substance – Cocaine
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Controlled Substance – Marihuana
Possession of a Controlled Substance – Oxycodone
Fail to Comply with a Probation Order
Possession of a Firearm without a Licence
Possession of a Prohibited Weapon without a Licence
Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
Possession of a Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
Careless Storage of a Firearm
Careless Storage of Ammunition
Possession of a Firearm knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
Possession of a Prohibited Weapon knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
Tampering with Serial Number
Robert TUTIC, 21 years of Oakville was also arrested and charged in relation to this investigation. He was released from custody to appear in Milton Court on August 30th.
