(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) – On Monday July 06, 2015, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to the Stratford Model Club (Model aircraft club) property along Line 29 west of Stratford, where the theft of a lawn tractor was discovered.
Investigation revealed that sometime between Friday July 03, 2015 and Monday July 06, 2015, unknown person(s) entered onto the property and drove a vehicle which was most likely pulling a trailer down the half kilometer long laneway to a shed used for storing property maintenance equipment.
The suspect(s) forced open the locked door and pushed the orange 2004 Husqvarna Model YTH1848XP lawn tractor outside, loaded it up and drove away with it.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have observed suspicious vehicles in the area of Line 29 between Road 125 and Perth Road 130 during the time in question, to contact them. If you have information about the theft of this lawn tractor or who knows it’s whereabouts please contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
