Police Seek Suspects Following A Pizza Shop Robbery

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking three suspects following a robbery at a pizza shop in the City of Vaughan.

On Saturday, October 1, 2016, at approximately 12:10 a.m., police were called to a pizza shop located in the area of Islington Avenue and Rutherford Road, for a report of a robbery. Three male suspects entered the shop, indicated they had a gun and demanded the employees turn over money from the register. The suspects left the shop with a quantity of cash. The employees were unharmed. There were no patrons in the shop at this time.

20 to 25 years

5’7” to 5’9”

Suspect #2:

Male, black

20 to 25 years

5’10”

Thin build

Suspect #3:

Male, white

26 years

6’

Light-brown, short hair

The investigation is ongoing.
