Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect following a gas station robbery in the City of Vaughan.
On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at approximately 1:10 a.m., officers attended a gas station located in the area of Thornhill Woods Drive and Highway 7 following reports of a robbery. A lone male suspect entered the gas station armed with a knife and demanded cash from the employee. The employee complied with the demand and the suspect fled the area on foot. The employee was not physically injured.
Responding officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Suspect is described as:
• Male, white
• 25 to 40 years
• 6’, thin build
• Fair complexion
The investigation is ongoing.
