Brampton– Officers from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking assistance from the public to identify a robbery suspect.
On Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., the 66 year-old female victim was walking in the area of McLaughlin Road and Curtis Drive. At this time the victim was assaulted from behind by the suspect, causing her to fall to the ground. The suspect then stole the victim’s purse and fled the area on foot. The victim received minor injuries as a result of the robbery.
The suspect is described as a male, black, 5’8” to 6’0” tall, with a dark complexion and a slim build. He had black curly hair and was wearing work boots, a white baseball jersey style shirt and dark coloured jeans. The suspect was last seen running eastbound on Curtis Drive.
